1. Overview
FastXP2P operates a non-custodial peer-to-peer interface. We collect the minimum amount of data needed to operate the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable Indian law. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is stored, and your rights as a user.
2. Information we collect
- Wallet identifiers — public addresses generated by your local wallet client. We do not store recovery phrases or private keys.
- Trade activity — order IDs, counterparty wallet address, amount, payment method, timestamps, and platform chat logs.
- Payment references — UPI / IMPS UTR numbers and screenshots submitted by users during dispute resolution.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device fingerprint, and log timestamps for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
- Support correspondence — emails and messages you send us, retained for support quality and audit.
3. Why we collect it
To operate trades and escrow, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet lawful requests from Indian authorities (Cyber Cell, Income-tax Department, ED, RBI), and improve platform safety.
4. Storage and retention
Operational data is stored on servers located in India. Trade records and payment references are retained for a minimum of 8 years to allow for tax audits and law-enforcement requests. Support emails are retained for 3 years unless required longer for ongoing disputes.
5. Sharing
We do not sell user data. We share information only:
- With counterparties of your trades (limited to wallet ID, rating, and the payment details you choose to share).
- With Indian law-enforcement or tax authorities pursuant to a valid legal order (Section 91 / Section 102 CrPC, summons, court orders).
- With service providers strictly necessary for platform operations (hosting, email, analytics) under appropriate data-processing terms.
6. Updates
This policy may be updated as platform features and Indian regulations evolve. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
